Another year in the books and was one to remember! A few of the highlights, my personal best muskie landed on the fly, a 46.5 inch bruiser! A fantastic trip to the Skeena river near Terrace BC with 6 other very fine gentlemen, one who landed a 23 lb steelhead and was easily a fish of a lifetime! Another trip back to the Mirimachi with some good friends to instill the challenge and thrill of chasing Atlantics with a fly! A fall to remember on my home waters of the Maitland River with a very early run of fish, super high water for almost 2 months, an early winter with 6 full weeks of fishing in the snow and freezing temps, but the challenge of that created some lifetime memories for me and a number of clients who braved the conditions and landed some georgeous steelhead! Here is a nice pic of the last steelhead I tangled with in 2013. It was a great fish and had even a better story to go with it, shared with two good friends and it was a classic way to end 2013 steelhead season!
