Fly Fitters is located 0n the banks of the Maitland river at the hamlet of Benmiller  which is also only a short hours drive from the Saugeen river. We have over 25yrs of experience fishing these two rivers and have been guiding on them for the past 6 yrs.

When introduced to a “spey” rod  5 yrs ago it was quickly realized the benefit this system could provide to presenting a fly on these two larger rivers. 

Best times to pursue steelhead with a two hander are early April through the end of May in the spring and early October to the end of December in the fall.
